James T. Kirk Built A Replica Of The USS Enterprise Bridge Inside His Home

The home features the USS Enterprise Bridge replica, along with a miniature golf course, an Egyptian collection, a Rebel Base, a tiki hut, and a giant ping pong table.

This is one of those stories that can be hard to fathom but we are here to tell you that this is 100 percent true. We’re not pulling your leg whatsoever. There really is a man named James T. Kirk and he’s managed to turn his home into something special.

His San Francisco home, which is located at 46th Avenue and Taraval Street in the Outer Sunset, has become quite the attraction.

Kirk was able to turn the home into a replica of the USS Enterprise Bridge, which is incredibly fitting given his name.

But now, things have taken a turn. He’s currently locked in a court battle with his mother’s estate over the home and is doing everything in his power to preserve it.

The home, which also comes with a miniature golf course, an Egyptian collection, a Rebel Base, a tiki hut, and a giant ping pong table, is currently open to the public. Kirk shares photos of the residence on Instagram so those who can’t visit in person can experience it from afar.

He truly does welcome everyone, so those who are in the area are more than welcome to stop by.

However, his home is currently up in the air due to the legal situation. He is looking to preserve the natural wonders of San Francisco, which includes his iconic house, and he’s got allies who are willing to help out during these trying times.

Port Commissioner Jason Hodge is on the job. He’s started a GoFundMe page that donations can be offered to, for all those who are looking to assist James with his court costs.

“He’s currently in probate court, trying to keep his house. If you can throw a few bucks his way, it would mean a lot, and help preserve a little piece of San Francisco Magic,” Hodge says.

We wish him all of the best during his ongoing court battle. With any luck, our next dispatch will be focused on the victory that Kirk was able to claim. At least he’s got a good sense of humor about things. It will serve him well during the days and weeks to come.

We are sending him all of our best wishes in the meantime. Please be sure to share away and raise awareness!
