Kelsey Grammar Will Officially Be Part Of The Frasier Reboot

Although Niles and Daphne will not be regulars on the show, they could show up from time to time as guest stars as well.

We sometimes say that they don’t make them like they used to, but it seems as if they do, they just do it by remaking them. That is what you will find is coming your direction, thanks to a Frasier reboot that is now on the table.

Kelsey Grammar will be part of the Frasier reboot that will be on the Paramount+ network. It was officially underway in 2021 and now that it has been given the go-ahead, it will be a full series.

According to Deadline, on The Talk, Grammar talked about how excited he was to be taking up the role of Frasier again.

He said: “[They’re] in the final stages of the final script for the first episode of the ‘Frasier’ reboot and it looks pretty good. I’ve had a couple of runs through it, and I cried, so you know, I’m happy.”

There are still a lot of questions that have yet to be answered and they may not be answered until closer to the time when Frasier is on the air. The show is being produced by Grammet NH Productions along with CBS Studio. 10 episodes will likely make up the initial season.

One of the questions that have to be answered is where it will take place. Some have suggested that it could be in Chicago or San Francisco.

Although Niles and Daphne will not be regulars on the show, they could show up from time to time as guest stars.

Perhaps the person we would most like to see is Martin, but John Mahoney, who played that role, passed away in 2018. The same is also true of Eddie, the Jack Russell Terrier, who died in 2006.

One thing is certain, we will be watching this space to see what takes place.
