You will be hard-pressed to find somebody who did not see Star Wars, and many people start watching from the original movie, shot in the mid-1970s.

Some of us even know the movie by heart, but perhaps we had never seen this rarely viewed footage from 1976.

The footage shows Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO, and Kenny Baker, who played R2-D2, trying on their costumes. In the background, you can also see some unfinished droids being tested.

Although this is not likely to change your perspective of the movie, it does add some interesting background information to what you are watching on the screen.

Some people who watch this footage will have never have seen the actors who were the people behind the droids, so it may change their perspective in a large way.
