What Started Out As Urban Exploration Became a Memorial

Led to find out more about their lives, Urbex US amazingly tracked down some of Florence’s recordings. These haunting songs breathe life into this abandoned home and give us a little peek into Florence’s life. Her piano and organ playing have a somber sound, while the vocal recordings of women singing hymns have a pure quality to them. That he was able to find recordings she made is just so wonderful!

This bedroom was probably a very nice room when the home was lived in.

We have to wonder if this piano was used in the recordings we hear on the tapes. Determined that their memory not be lost, he made this video to tell a small part of their story to the world.
