We’ve all been there; anxiously awaiting a package to arrive in the mail, only for the expected delivery date to pass by with no signs of your mail. But having to wait 40 years? Now that’s a first, and that’s exactly what happened to the Viewbank Tennis Club in Melbourne, Australia. The package, which was found behind old machinery at an Australian post office, contained retro tennis patches that club employees believe were ordered at some point in the 70s.
While the package itself was beat up and oily, the contents inside were in perfect condition! The club now plans to use the patches for their 50th anniversary.
