The Circus Was A Lot Different When We Were Kids!

Going to the circus was a big deal for us growing up. It wasn’t often we got to see it and there was so much fanfare around going.There aren’t many shows that can ever rival the magic of the circus! Here some of our favorite memories of going to the circus.

The Clowns

It’s a very serious job: making people laugh! Watching the clowns do impossible stunts that were impossibly funny, it was hard to not be filled with wonder. And how many of us wanted to be clowns after seeing how happy they made people and how expressive they got to be with their performances? They interacted with the crowd more than some of the other performers and all us kids related better to the clowns than to almost anyone else.

The Music

The live music that the clowns and other talent performed to was one of the best things about going to the circus. The band could be big or small, but it gave that unique sound to each performance. The trombones will always be the best background for clowns!
