If you were around for this decade, you probably remember how Cabbage Patch Kids were EVERYWHERE (it’s why they’re featured twice in the photo below). These dolls were insanely popular. Cheer Bear from the Care Bears is also featured, along with the most frustrating toy ever invented: the Rubix Cube.

Sci-Fi was all the rage, and this decade allowed children the chance to own their very own remote controlled robot! While it may seem primitive looking back, it was definitely ahead of its time. And while Mr. Potato Head himself isn’t featured in this photo, his friends Cooky The Cucumber and Katie Carrot sure are (these were part of the Mr. Potato Head Picnic Pals play set).

We saved the toughest choice for last, with the hopes that the process of elimination could help you identify which decade this toy is from. The reason this is so tough is because toys from this decade weren’t flashy, weren’t influenced by pop culture, and didn’t feature any cool gadgets or tricks. In fact, these are the types of toys that get passed down from generation to generation and become cherished family keepsakes.
