Celebrate Halloween With One Of The Best Scenes From “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”

For the past 50 years, Halloween has meant candy, costumes, and the Great Pumpkin. Every year since 1966, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown would air on TV, and every year we would watch it. In fact, it became sort of a tradition: That iconic music, Linus waiting for The Great Pumpkin to rise over the most sincere pumpkin patch, Sally demanding restitution, Snoopy the World War I flying ace, and poor Charlie Brown getting a rock in his trick-or-treat bag. Personally, my favorite part of the show was when Lucy comes out to the pumpkin patch to bring Linus in from the cold. You can see the entire scene below. Did you watch this on TV as a kid? What Halloween traditions do you have? Let us know in the comments section!
