The 1960s Oscar looks were all about glamor and big hair! While some actresses wore more traditional dresses, some were beginning to embrace edgier looks, like Liz Taylor below.

Elizabeth Taylor looks intensely glamorous wearing a Dior dress with her Oscar in 1961. The gown is lemon yellow on top, white on bottom, with a dark sash and floral decoration. She won Best Actress for BUtterfield 8. Taylor poses beside Billy Wilder and his 3 (!) Oscars.
