In the chart, Ownes chronologically organized the color of every cardigan that Mister Rogers wore over the course of his performances from 1969 to 2001.
Mister Rogers’ birthday was on March 20 and the tributes were tremendous. We are not going to lie to you, our eyes got a bit damp when we would scroll past all of the posts paying homage to our old friend.
Owen Phillips of The F5 newsletter went above and beyond, though, by creating a chart to showcase his love of Mister Rogers.
In the chart, he chronologically organized the color of every cardigan that Mister Rogers wore over the course of his performances from 1969 to 2001. It’s an amazing chart to look at since you get to see the natural evolution of his wardrobe over the course of 30 plus years.
If you appreciate the chart, you can purchase a copy for yourself on the F5 Big Cartel Store is here to serve all of your needs. “Own or gift this unique and original artwork to commemorate and remember Fred Rogers and his cardigans,” the site implores.
This show got its start all the way back in 1969 and Mister Rogers dispensed his incredible advice all the way up until 2001. It’s a run of excellence that we are simply never going to see again and there aren’t any more like him in the pipeline. In fact, we may decide to take our tributes to a whole new level by buying one of these cardigans and adding it to our own wardrobe.SKM: below-content placeholder
