Man Discovers A Pair Of Century-Old Levi Jeans In An Old California Mine

He wasn’t necessarily looking for silver, he was looking for history – and that’s exactly what he found.

If you’ve ever had an opportunity to visit a ghost town, you realize that there is a lot more than meets the eye.

On the surface, it may just look like a bunch of abandoned buildings but as you look deeper, you see that there is a lot of history and evidence of what was left behind.

At times, we may pass through a ghost town, but a man named Brent Underwood calls the town of Cerro Gordo, California home.

You can often find him exploring the old silver mines in the area. He isn’t necessarily looking for silver, he is looking for history.

Recently, he went down into a silver mine that took him multiple days to access. When he was down there, in an area known as’s Jefferson Chimney, he happened to find an old pair of Levi jeans.

This is more than just finding some clothing that was left behind, these Levi’s are at least 100 years old and are likely older than that!

Interestingly, the Levi company got its start in the area, so it’s not unusual to find some older blue jeans left behind.

Who knows what he’ll find next!
