New Homeowner Finds A Safe And Can’t Believe What They Find Inside

When you move into a new home, you often try to learn everything possible about it as soon as you can. In fact, you may even feel as if you’ve got a handle on things before you move in.

Then again, there may be certain things that are hiding under the surface and you will not fully understand what it has to offer until you’ve lived in the home for quite some time.

For example, there may be a light switch in the home that you can’t quite figure out. You may flick it up and down at various times of the day, hoping that some light will come on but it is elusive.

That is a fairly common problem, but one person went on TikTok to show that they had a different issue to overcome. It seems as if they had found a safe in their home and they were trying to break in.

The woman who was buying the home thought that perhaps the area near the fireplace had a hidden safe. After getting the key, she removed some of the wood from the front and discovered the safe. It was on the first day that she moved into the house!

She was taking a video to share with others and even showed how it seemed that people were trying to break into the safe before they got there.

Her father was there to help and he had a spy camera to try to discover the secrets of the safe. Unfortunately, they were having difficulty prying the door open.

Eventually, a second video was posted that talked about the house being built some 70 years ago. The people who lived in the house before her didn’t know what was behind the wood panels.

Fortunately, she found it and then went on Google to find out more about the safe. An expert was called in and the door was opened after being unlatched.

There were some interesting things in the safe, including playing cards, and a World War II 50th anniversary coin. There was also an old newspaper from 1850 in very good condition.

It was interesting to see but some of the people who watched the video were not very happy with how she handled the contents. That was especially true of the newspaper, which may have been worth some money if it was in such good condition.
