Which Hairstyles Were Most Popular The Year You Graduated?

From trendy cuts to the most elegant up-dos, it’s so much fun to look back on the hairstyles from high school.

1975

1975 saw a little bit more structure and maintenance creep back into our hairstyles. Long and loose was still the ticket, but with a little bit of curl. And, of course, we can’t forget the haircuts of Farrah Fawcet and Dorothy Hamill that inspired us just a year or two later.

The shag or a rougher version (the rooster) was another haircut that relied on longer hair. Stars like David Cassidy and Rod Stewart made this cut incredibly famous. A tamer version of this haircut is more what most kids had.
