1) Santa and Rudolph from Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer TV Special

This was a very special TV special growing up and it still is! Nothing quite captured the magic of Christmas like this 1964 stop-motion creation. You could imagine the way Rudolph’s fur felt or the cold snow in a whirlwind across your face. It was like you were there with them in a way. The figures that were used to film this special showed up on the Antiques Roadshow, a little worse for wear, to be appraised back in 2006. Several of each of the puppets were created for different poses in various scenes, though it is unknown how many survivetoday. Appraised for $8,000-$10,000, these puppets have been restored and sold since this Roadshow took place.
