5) Fab vs. Slay

Years ago we might have said that a new record was fab, but today young people would say that the album or artist slayed it. Anything done well can slay actually.

4) Moolah vs. Green

Money! Just different ways of talking about it.

3) Green vs. Jelly

And, speaking of green, we used to say it to mean jealous. Kids these days use the word jelly instead.

2) No Chill

The two phrases both mean to act irrationally or show your hand and both of them have led to some very funny visuals over the years.

1) Vibes vs. The Feels

Extreme good vibes could be coming from a touching scene or a welcoming group, but these days many people would describe that as giving them all the feels (short for feelings).
