The Past 100 Years in Color Trends

If you had to pick one color to sum up each decade these would be it!

1990s

Dark plum, deep emerald green, and a range of metallic colors were trendy in the grunge decade. Velvet and corduroy also came back into fashion, perfect fabrics for the saturated jewel tone colors.

2010s

Nothing quite sums up the current color trends like greige. A mix between grey and beige, this versatile color gets a lot of play because it goes well with nearly every other color and satisfies a wide audience.
