2) Easy-Bake Oven

This one is a classic like no other! Offering little girls a chance to practice their stirring and a glimpse of what baking could be like, the toy often yielded a half-baked sweet glop rather than a perfectly-formed creation. But, it was still a lot of fun. The modern versions look quite different, but they are a best-seller even today!

1) Slinky

Our favorite by far, this was one nearly everyone could afford. The Original Slinky and Slinky Dog were another part of childhood that we will never forget. If you didn’t have stairs, Slinky was less fun and sometimes it got really tangled. No matter though, this is still a top seller and the jingle always makes us smile.

There are so many of our favorite toys that were introduced or became popular in the 1960s! We could go on until this list was a mile long. Back then we had really fun toys that were designed well, which is probably why so many of them are still around today!
