2) 1965 The Beatles

In mint condition this iconic lunch box, featuring the signatures of a ll four Beatles, recently sold for $1,222on Ebay, with the matching thermos of course. In 1965, The Beatles had just released Rubber Soul, but their successes in 1964 with the so-called British invasion would have meant their faces on lunch boxes even if they hadn’t released another album.

1) 1954 Superman

This lunch box is the holy grail of all lunch boxes. One in excellent condition (without the matching thermos) recently sold on Ebay for $5,000! In this Adco lunch box Superman battles with Robot Steel on one side while the other reveals why Superman is just so special.

This model of lunch box sold in late 2017 for $18,000 through Morphy’s Auctions. In 2011 another model sold at auction for just under $12,000. If you ever come across this one snatch it up quick! We have to wonder how many of these treasures were thrown out or totally wrecked through daily use.
