What Started Out As Urban Exploration Became a Memorial
Any time we come across something old, we have to wonder about its previous owners. For one urban explorer, this curiosity led him to find out more about the lives of the former-owners of this time capsule home. What he discovered was truly special.
Chancey and Florence were both born around the turn of the century. The mementos and objects around their home carry almost 100 years of stories. From the portraits and papers to the dolls and skates, the collection of items are captured beautifully in these photos. Some areas of the home have clearly been upturned, while other areas have the picturesque quality of an old home on a summer’s day, ready for the owners to return.
Some old recipes and some handwritten stories and jokes side by side. That cake recipe looks like it would be pretty tasty!
An autographed and dust-covered photo of Carolyn Carroll, who’s husband was the voice of Jiminy Cricket.
These old roller skates look very familiar.
The colors on this old dolly are still vibrant after all this time. She must have been well looked after.
