Bryan Cranston Explains Some Of His Most Iconic Characters
The friendly actor sat down with GQ to provide an interview in which he discussed some of his more memorable or iconic performances throughout his career.
Bryan Cranston is pretty much a household name. Over the years, the actor has brought us many beloved and iconic characters.
Some of his more famous and well-known roles would be such performances where he portrayed Walter White in “Breaking Bad,” Hal Wilkerson in “Malcolm in the Middle,” Dr. Tim Whatley in “Seinfeld,” Michael Desiato in “Your Honor,” Shannon in “Drive,” Mac in “Saving Private Ryan,” and President Lyndon B. Johnson in “All the Way.”
While it’s clear that his long career has afforded him many opportunities, he’s still a pretty down-to-earth kind of guy.
The friendly actor sat down with GQ to provide an interview in which he discussed some of his more memorable or iconic performances throughout his career.
Cranston talked about everything related to some of his characters, such as their personalities, motivations, and personal styles.
He also shared that he had a different approach for each role so that he could take on the character as best he could. Besides his acting methods and performances, he also discussed his love for his craft, as well as the fame that came with his long career.
As the actor himself stated in the interview, “If success and fame and celebrity never came, I’d be fine because I was making a living. I was doing what I loved to do, and I had a great family. So it was okay. Now all of a sudden this happens. And you have to learn how to deal with it because you’re not ever taught how to become a celebrity.”
