Built in 1888, this gorgeous structure in Shiraz, Iran, is sometimes called the Pink Mosque because of the pink tiles that adorn it. The Nasir ol Molk Mosque is also sometimes called the Rainbow Mosque and we can see why! It’s filled with every color of the rainbow thanks to the incredible tile work and the strategically placed stained glass windows that catch the sun everyday. The two mirror and echo the patterns of the other beautifully.

As the light changes throughout the day, the walls and floor and ceiling glow in colors of red, green, blue, and every other color. The colors bounce and play on the carved pillars and across the carpets. This magnificent house of worship is set aglow everyday when the sun shines through the numerous stained glass windows. It’s hard to feel sad looking at so much glorious color. Have a look at this wondrous place below. It’s truly breathtaking! And check out this Indian temple dripping with every hue.
