January 19 – Featured Antiques on Dusty Old Thing

from: Chris Schiro Micoz: “This is a Swedish brides chest I inherited. 200 years old this year all original . Any guess as to value?”

from: Cat Johnson: “This trinket box was given to me years ago by a friend”

from: Joyce Sterling Perry: “Some of my “Cameo” depression glass in my husband’s grandmother’s pie safe.”

from: Annita Smith McGinnes: “This is a certificate given to my grandmother when she was 16. It says, “This is to certify that Miss Radia Campbell in a class of thirty made the most marked improvement in business writing, taught by W. M. Borden”. It is hand written in calligraphy and the decorations are also done by hand. This is from 1906. The frame is original but much of the gelding has worn off. The decorations in the 4 corners are metal but I don’t know what kind.”
