If you’re looking to get away from it all and start your life over, here’s your chance. A remote island in Ireland called Great Blasket Island is looking for two people to run its coffee shop for seven months. The island is only accessible by boat and doesn’t have very many residents. However, they are hoping to grow.

A Twitter account promoting tourism on the island posted a simple tweet that is now garnering thousands of views, “A unique position required – looking for long term management of Island Accommodation and Coffee Shop. Couple or two friends. 1st April 2020 – October 2020 accommodation and food provided.”

Great Blasket Island is close to the coast of County Kerry. It is also part of a six-island archipelago and very remote. According to the island’s history, the most inhabitants it has ever had was about 150. The government is now helping the island and those numbers are rising.
