These 16 Photos Perfectly Show Just How Stylish Travel Used to Be

From barbershops on trains to full-service flights, these images show how swanky travel was back then!

Before the goal of each flight was to fit as many people on board as possible, plane travel came with lots of little luxuries. Drinks served in real cups, tables, and for long flights, sleeping compartments. Back then flights were far too expensive for many people, but some of those luxuries trickled into the more affordable flights of later years.

It’s so wonderful to see women in dresses, heels, and pearls to travel. The men’s suits are top notch as well. Flights today certainly don’t look like this.
