Can You Guess Antiques Roadshow’s Highest Valuation? It’s Crazy!

Make sure to watch through to the end!

So it turns out the bowls that are being appraised are made out of rhinoceros horn, can you believe it?!

As with ivory, rhinoceros horn is illegal to trade (made so after a strict crackdown in 1993), which makes these bowls all the more rare…and valuable. While we don’t condone animal cruelty or poaching of any sort, it is incredible to see such unique pieces that are in such good condition.

Although these bowls are certainly beautiful, we hope this serves as a reminder of what atrocities take place against animals and that’s it’s still a problem today; they need our protection. What are your thoughts on the matter?
