You Won’t Believe What Was Found In Some Old Birds’ Nests

During the recent construction on the Assumption Cathedral in Russia, archaeologists made quite the discovery.

During the recent construction on the Assumption Cathedral in Russia, archaeologists made quite the discovery. Hidden under several centuries’ worth of decayed roof were multiple birds’ nests, containing paper documents from the past. The birds were apparently collecting anything they could find to build their nests and, surprisingly, many of the documents are still in decent shape!

Among the documents found were manuscripts from the 18th century, bills of sale, newspapers, candy wrappers and even a bank note for 1,000 rubles!
