from: Joseph Kleinman: “This is my entertainment center; a 1937 floor model Philco”
from: Caroline Nothwanger: “Opinions–do I strip this or not? It sat in my husband’s grandmother’s basement for at least 50 years, & has been stored for about the last 10. The finish is probably leftover wall paint, has a very chalky surface and is badly alligatored. No idea what the wood is underneath. I suspect pine, may be with a veneer. There are round machine dovetails on the sides of the drawers. I don’t see a label anywhere. All 4 drawers still have their locks in place, although covered in paint.”
from: Jennifer Blevins-Hoban: “One more for today. I normally don’t collect vintage, but I couldn’t pass this guy up. He was only $20! Circa 1918, Sitzendorf.”
