These are the type of stories we just love to hear. Giorgano’s Diner, an abandoned 1950’s restaurant in New Jersey, was set to be demolished to make way for a new retail development, when it was saved at the last minute by Modern Recycled Spaces. The new owners actually loaded the diner onto the back of a truck, and drove it off the lot! The diner, which was located on Route 1 and was famous for its tapioca pudding, was one of five remaining diners built by Mountain View Diner Co. of Little Falls, from 1939 to 1957.  Get a look at the inside of the historic diner below, and learn more about the diner’s rescue, and it’s future, here!
