Starring in such hit films as Battle Cry, Damn Yankees, and Meet Me in St. Louis, Tab Hunter was one of the dreamiest actors of the 1950s and 60s. He starred in his own TV show, The Tab Hunter Show, and worked into the 1990s. He was in so many great TV shows actually, like The Love Boat and Six Million Dollar Man. His clean-cut good looks and blonde hair made him a great romantic lead, starring opposite Hollywood mavens like Natalie Wood and Sophia Loren. Fun fact: Hunter studied figure skating in high school. His 1957 hit song “Young Love,” is such a sweet song full of hope. Listen to the girls go wild for him in this great clip from The Perry Como Show in 1957.
