After Saving Up For More Than 45 Years, He Cashed In 15 Water Jugs Full Of Pennies!

You’ve probably heard the phrase, “see a penny, pick it up; all day long you’ll have good luck.” Well, one 73-year-old man took that phrase to heart, and now he’s reaping the benefits. After collecting every penny he could for the past 45 years, Otha Anders cashed in his collection of more than 500,000 pennies (fifteen five-gallon plastic water jugs worth of pennies!) for a total of $5,136.14. The process of unloading and counting that many pennies took the bank more than five hours, but employees say they were happy to help.
