If you grew up in the Reagan era then you no doubt have many memories that included footed pajamas, Pac-Man, and various varieties of unreasonably sweet sugary cereal. Trivial (and oh so delightful) indulgences that predated the most recent health food and safety trends are now some very fond memories for those who grew up in the ’80s. 12) Slap Bracelets

It was all fun and games until someone got hurt with one of these bad boys. Because of this some schools banned slap bracelets. While not everyone believes these were dangerous, they certainly could be a major distraction in the classroom!

10) Swatch Watches

The amount of changing that was possible, if not at all practical, with these watches was a big selling point. Today these watches are collectible items with some selling for hundreds of dollars!

9) Double Dare

For all of us watching at home, this after school TV show was one of the most fun because we could just imagine what it felt like to get whapped with 50 pounds of spaghetti or fall into a giant tub of whipped topping. We’d be lying if we didn’t think we could have done better than the contestants, though!

8) Scratch and Sniff Stickers

Scented stickers were surely the future, or so we thought. These novelty stickers never exactlysmelled just like what they were depicting, but they had a unique odor that smelled like if a fruit roll-up and paper factory had a baby. Good times!

7) Underroos

These sets were like wearing the pajama or underwear version of a costume of our favorite characters and movies! Underroos gave us a warm, comfy, ego-inflated feeling that we still miss to this day!
