Things sure have changed over the last 100 years. Some of the things we have access to today – like smartphones and the Internet would seem like total science-fiction to people living in the early 1900s. Technology wasn’t the only thing to change and grow over time. Fashion trends bounced back and forth over the decades, and it’s always interesting to see how the clothes really reflect the time period.

For example, the 60s were all about bright colors and clashing patterns. This was evident in the popular skirts of the day!

Each decade has its own, distinct style. Some are a pushback to previous decades, while others are heavily influenced by whatever was going on at the time – like during WWI and WWII. It’s fascinating to see history come alive and be represented by fashion choices, don’t you think?
