Who Would Have Thought Antique Washing Machines Could Be So Interesting?

Antique washing machine museum has everything from sheep-powered machines to hand crank models.

Everything from antique ringers to salesman’s models are housed here at Lee Maxwell’s Washing Machine Museum in Eaton, Colorado. Maxwell even has one intended to be powered by sheep! All of the 1,500 machines on display have been painstakingly restored by Maxwell himself, but oddly he doesn’t seem to know how to work the modern computer-run washing machines!

Maxwell not only wants to preserve a bit of history, but now says that he’s looking for someone to take on the museum and the collection so that generations of people can enjoy these interesting machines and the history they hold. Have a look at this charming museum in the video below.
