In Madagascar the Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve is home to one of the most unique forests in the world. This nature preserve covers 250 square miles of “forest” made of limestone formations in unique shapes. Eroded over years, the formations now are razor sharp but trees have grown up in between the rocks creating an otherworldly landscape.

The UNESCO World Heritage site is home to 11 species of lemurs and contains marshes, swamps, and woodlands nestled in between the rivers and rock formations which give this area a feeling like no other.
