If you have a film camera you are among the few who haven’t completely dropped film altogether. We miss using film cameras and then getting a big surprise when the pictures were finally developed! Heck, most people don’t even have a Polaroid camera anymore- though we hear they might be making a comeback.

Newspaper Delivery

The number of people who get a newspaper delivered these days has decreased dramatically as well. With so many online versions and free news sites, most people opt out. There is something about the smell of the ink, though, and the crossword puzzles!

Encyclopedia

Who needs to keep around volumes of books to find out the same things that one can easily look online to find out about? When we were growing up, the encyclopedias were kept in an important place in the house. You’d be hard pressed to find any homes these days with a set inside, though!

Placemats

Back in the day we always used placemats because they made clean-up so much easier! But, most people today have forgone this old-fashioned table accessory, especially since many families no longer even eat at the table!

If you still have these items then you are one of the few! As times change, we can’t help but change along with them. And, these nostalgic items just don’t make sense for many of us anymore.
