In the early 60’s, The Twist was all the rage. Becoming the world’s first dance craze was great, but did you know the Twist actually inspired its own hair cut? In the following clip from Vintage Fashions, you’ll see a clip from 1962 in which a North London barber created a haircut to go along with the dance. From the looks on the faces of those getting their haircuts, it’s no wonder this style never caught on. That said, it’s still an interesting, albeit funny, look back at the Good Old Days!
