This is just an awesome story. 104-year-old Grace Brett, thought to be the world’s oldest street artist, is helping to turn the town of Selkirk, Scotland, into a beautiful art project. Along with the rest of her “Yarnstormers,” Brett has yarn-bombed 46 landmarks in Borders County, and the results are beautiful (for those not in the know, yarn bombing — which was officially added to the Oxford English Dictionary earlier this year — is the action or activity of covering objects or structures in public places with decorative knitted or crocheted material, as a form of street art.
