It’s no surprise that the Greatest Generation used saltines in so many ways when you think about how they literally had save every penny they had. But, honestly, most of these recipes sound downright yummy.

Deviled Crackers

We had never heard it called this before or used this exact recipe, but we can say we certainly had steak sauce with crackers on more than one occasion. This recipe uses Worcestershire sauce and butter on crackers which then are baked in the oven for 5 minutes.
