If There’s a Sweeter Love Song Than “I Will Follow Him” We’ve Yet to Hear It

There are some songs that just speak to an era of innocence, and remind us of holding hands and going steady.

There are some songs that just speak to an era of innocence, of holding hands and going steady, of corsages and letter jackets. And Little Peggy March brings it all back with her classic song, “I Will Follow Him” from 1963. Her sweet voice and demeanor made her a hit with teens in the ’60s. She got her descriptive name from her petite stature- she was only 4 feet 10 inches. Such a sweet performance, she’s even wearing gloves!

Peggy March was the youngest female at the time to have a #1 song on the charts when she was just 15-years-old. Not only in the U.S., but across the world this sweet song was a hit. Surprisingly, March did not many other chart-toppers in the U.S., but German and British audiences could not get enough! Have a listen again to one of the most endearing songs of the ’60s. And, be sure to check out a classic hit from from 1965 right here!
