We’re Wondering How This IHOP Ad From 1969 Ever Got Approved

What were they serving at the meeting when this was approved?!? Not quite sure if they were trying to appeal to both the typical IHOP family set AND the counter-culture drug crowd, but wow, this is a doozy! Seriously, is that the Chipmunks singing?!? Although I kind of want that chicken bowl that they serve to the little girl.
