While Remodeling Her Old House, She Found Something Awesome Hidden Beneath The Floorboards!

Youtube user Ang Gru was recently remodeling her house, which is nearly 100 years old. While tearing up the old floor inside one of the closets, she found something awesome: a 14K diamond ring (although from the looks of the ring, we think maybe it’s a ruby?). Upon further inspection, she noticed something else peeping out from underneath the flooring, so she decided to investigate; that’s when she found old newspapers that date back to 1932! Lining your floors with newspaper was a common practice in the past, as it was cheap, efficient insulation and helped to prevent the floor from creaking. What a cool find, and a great piece of history for her house!
