On a night celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of the most classic animated films in history, something truly special happened. During a special screening of “Beauty and the Beast,” presented by Disney and The Film Society of Lincoln Center, Angela Lansbury appeared on stage to sing the film’s classic theme song bearing the same title. Lansbury, who played the original role of Mrs. Potts, the kind hearted, motherly tea pot, didn’t miss a beat in a performance that dazzled the crowd. It’s hard to believe that the Murder, She Wrote actress is 90 years old! Check out the performance below, and have some tissues handy; it might get a little dusty!
