The Russian Bolsheviks overthrew the provisional government in order to set up a government for the proletariat. The revolution happened in 1917 when the Bolsheviks stormed the Winter Palace. However, their powerful revolution was on hold for a few days after they all got ridiculously drunk when they discovered the wine cellar in the Winter Palace.

Bulletproof

During the Civil War, a soldier by the name of W.V. Meadows was shot between the eyes. Now, this is nothing special in and of itself – it was war, afterall, and many men were shot and killed in battle. W. V. Meadows, however didn’t die from this incredible shot. Not only was he relatively and remarkably unharmed from this wound, the man actually coughed out the bullet 58 years later. Incredible!
